Brooklyn's parents just recently got a divorce. She stayed with her mother in Africa while her father has moved to a small town in England. Over the christmas holidays Brooklyn is stuck staying with her dad for a few weeks. The little town has no malls or clothing stores and NO WIFI. A huge storm hits and the town is without power, and Brooklyn and her father have to move in with the next door neighbours. The neighbours have a teenage son the same age as Brooklyn and a romance between the two start to form. Lots happens over the holidays, and this is one of the best Christmases Brooklyn has ever had.
