Ella has spent most of her high school years invisible to those around her. She doesn't belong anywhere, doesn't play sports, participate in any clubs, or have anything higher than a C+ on her report card. Her only friend is huge nerd Alec Hollis, who gets her into trouble more than she can get out of it. But after one fateful party(and game of truth or dare), the pair finds themselves roaming around with celebrated jock Daniel Saunders in ninja costumes, and things get a little superhuman from there....
Now she fights crime(no radiation needed!) on the streets of her town, carving a place for herself beside her two dorky sidekicks. Now if she could only pass her math class, maybe get a boyfriend, and have everything go smoothly for once.

WARNING: CONTAINING AMOUNTS OF SASS PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO MANKIND In the city of NYC--- Ok. Hold up. First of all, New York City. What, are ya gonna assume everyone here knows what NYC is? Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. The Chosen One Chronicles: Where the Light Meets the Dark
High school student Anthony Scalese was having a normal day when his friends decided that they wanted to attend a party. After bumping into Emma, the girl of his dreams, in a not-so-positive way, he realizes that the day isn't going well. It gets worse when tragedy strikes, and his friend takes his own life at that party, forcing him into a depression that not even his little sister can help him out of. The only thing that keeps him going is his excitement for a school camping trip that is coming up with his best friend Edward. After a little mishap while hiking down from their camp site, Anthony and his major crush fall down the side of the mountain and get stuck, then get chased by a gun-wielding maniac into a cave. After what seems like days, they make it out of the cave alive, only to find out that they have ended up in a new world: a world where nothing makes sense. There are giants and leprechauns and shapeshifters...but there is also a great darkness that is out to destroy everyone-and everything-that it sees. Young Anthony finds out that it is up to him and Emma to save this new world with great powers that he had no idea he had, and make it home before anybody suspects a thing. Told from a first-person point-of-view, it goes into detail about the thought processes of a young man who has everything to lose. The protagonist deals with real life struggles every day, including the death of his friend, his dad who left him at an early age, and the pain of seeing his little sister being hurt by her boyfriend. He also has to take charge and become a hero for those who can't against an unwavering bully in a far-away world. My book blends fiction with reality, as the reader follows along in the life of a shy high school student who gets thrown into many situations he must overcome as he finds out who he truly is and why it is him who needs to save the world, while keeping the reader guessing every step of the way.Concluída

Emma is a high school Senior, she's in love with a jock named jake but he'll never be hers, at least that's what she thinks. To make matters worse, she's his next door neighbour. You might be thinking that's a good thing and it sorta is, she can see him anytime she likes, when he's sleeping, getting dressed and doing homework, he never shuts his curtains. And here's the bad thing, he's the HOTTEST guy at school so heaps of girls come to his bedroom. Emma hates seeing it, she wishes it was her. Emma has never been completely loved, her step mum is mean and her two step sisters, Hanna and Sofie, are mean. Emma never gets what she wants, she's unloved. Her biological mum tries visiting her but she's always working, her life is unfair. In her spare time she stares out her window looking at jake doing wonderful fun things.
