'I failed. Again.' Kajol thought to herself in sheer disappointment. She let her body go limp, slumping deeply into her chair wishing could sink into the ground and that the earth would just swallow her whole. She had to pass this advanced literature class or else she wouldn't graduate. It was looking like shouldn't. Kajol had always been an academic genius of sorts, an "A" student, an award winner who always made her parents proud. Until this class. She had never received low marks ever in her life...Until she had deal with Professor Khan....It were as if the man were out to get her. Her work was never good enough....never completed enough...never thought out enough for the holier-than-thou educator. He HAD to be out to get her. (BEGINNING OF CHAPTER 1)
