While casually strolling along the aisle of newly released games, Iris saw a fantasy-based VRMMORPG Game named Fate Online: Dreams of Tomorrow, with a promotional line of "you can do everything you want!" 

The freedom-loving Iris was immediately hooked with it, 'who doesn't love freedom is an idiot!,' she thought. With her wallet empty, Iris survived the second-day sale and happily walked home.

Full of excitement and anticipation, Iris set up the game and entered..

..and that, Iris began to think how that comedic promotional line is related with that serious formal introduction that she just read.

Then she started off as an Elf, in an elf village.. who is required to do the quests to go on with the gameplay.
