He can see everything. He can feel everything. Seemingly worst of all, he can understand everything around him, although he alone realizes this. Bill knew his life's stress was excessive, but remained powerless to abate it, until a debilitating stroke leaves him with the ultimate power a man can have, a magic beyond the supernatural world.

Like a mute fly on the on the wall, watching in horror as his caretaker Faye uses her own powers of destruction to cope with their particular prison, we watch Bill slowly learn to communicate. There are so many people trying to help him - his wife, his sister, his children. Rays of mankind's unique potential to discover hope and meaning pierce the dark one by one until ultimately, Bill's fate rests in the race to share his newly found brilliance before this very ability is revealed to those who would do him harm. Sure magic is in the mind. But that doesn't make it any less amazing.

In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again. Or in other words, my unintentional and accidental ripoff of My Hero Academia :/ Blurb is a work in progress

The past is a cruel dictator of our future and pain is just one more emotion that hurts us all. Aaron opens his swollen eyes once again after the tenth night in which he has not stopped crying and suffering, something so common among us that I even feel sorry for him. Yet that creeping pain and confusion is just the tip of the iceberg that is about to sink your life even further, if that's possible. The real reason for his cruel present is hidden in the blurry memories of his past, which he must uncover without the help of anyone. After the last stab in his back decided not to heal, he realized only one thing. You can not trust anyone. Not even in yourself, for a traitor can come from anywhere. It will be difficult for him to achieve the peace and normal life that he longs for so much, but one thing is certain, he will not rest until he frees his wrists from the chains that bind him ... or from whoever ties him cruelly ... When he believed that he had finally managed to clear up the doubts of his past and that his life could finally take a correct path, as if the writer of his life was playing selflessly with words, the greatest of his secrets came to light. Will he be able to meet his own expectations, or will he only destroy himself by trying? "Power or Will, you decide" He ...
