"What's your name?" I ask while pricking his arm with the IV. He doesn't say anything. I lick my lips and try again. "I'm sofía."

Nothing.

With my hopes shot I continue to tend to him.

"The Doctor will be in in a minute." I say softly. His huge, cold hand shoots out and grabs my wrist lightly but like a handcuff. I pull back in surprise yet his grip remains.

"Thank you, Sofía..." My thighs clench together with anticipation. His deep raspy voice sends shivers down to my core.
