Outer Space Fate

Tom Jones was hired to be one of the few astronauts to go into outer space with a few other anonymous members for NASA's space exploration mission and he was overly ecstatic about it. It was April of 1979, the highly anticipated years coming to a close, and Tom was just enthused about being on an actual spaceship. While one of Tom's crew members, David, constantly starts arguments out of pure jealousy, it completely ruins Tom's oh-so-wonderful ideal of becoming a famous, likable astronaut figure. Due to the constant ridiculing of David, Tom hides behind his music as to pass the time, but neglects his responsibilities on the ship, resulting in an overall disaster. Asteroids, anxiety, and arguments take place all at the same time as the days pass. Stress clouds Tom's mind precariously as he is forced to face the reality of the situation and manage to keep his own good reputation at the same time. Will he be able to hand all the pressure laid down on him at the very end?
