Sandra has never met her grandmother before, not even at her mother's funeral, so it comes as a surprise when her grandmother herself invites her to stay over during winter break and "catch up." But when Sandra arrives at 1700 Elwood Lane, all the way across the state in some off-the-map town, she doesn't find a homey cottage, lush front garden, and a pink Volvo parked in the driveway. She finds a run down mansion, an empty vault, and blood smeared on the walls.
Unable to run away, Sandra is trapped inside the house along with all of her grandmother's secrets--ones she is very reluctant to discover. Ones that just might kill her next.
