When Lily's pack gets attacked by rouges at the age of 13 it comes as a bit of a surprise. With half of the pack members still sound asleep in bed it isn't long before the alpha is killed and her pack was taken over by the rouge leader. As the alphas daughter she tried to fight, to be like her dad always brought her up to be but that doesn't work out well for her.
Taken away from her pack and the only thing she's ever known she gets locked away far away and tortured just because of who she is. She spent years locked in a cage eating mouldy bread, drinking dirty water and getting daily beatings. The once outspoken girl becomes broken and scared. She stops speaking, never giving them the satisfaction of hearing her cries again because what's the use?
When a chance to escape presents itself, she takes it fleeing from the place that gives her nightmares but now at the age of 17 with no knowledge of where she is or how to survive she feels hopeless and scared.
When she walks into another packs territory and wolfs begin to surround her she tries to run but with the lack of energy she doesn't get far. Dragged back to their pack she's presented to the alpha and the last thing she expected happened.
He was her mate.
But with all the fears in her life will she be able to accept him?

After about 2 and a half years of dealing with this Alpha Dominic someone whisks her away again as her second mate as she was rejected before. They have their ups and downs but nothing is compared to what they have in stored, the new roller coaster they must ride to have a happily ever after, if you can call it that. I know the book starts slow, that's how I wanted it to be, to build to the exciting parts. It may be a drag, I know but it'll be worth it when the book speeds up with the roller coaster that Harmony has to ride, so to speak. Give it time and it'll spike your interest.
