Aurora’s existence is bound to that of a handsome man. Her thirst for adventure lands her in the arms of a star-ship captain, ready for flight to a new land in the stars.

Deacon’s mission was simple: Take forty soldiers and fly to the starry globe. Bring Aurora to the Klan for training and harness her mental power. Yet Deacon couldn’t stop thinking about the beautiful woman and her feisty passion for adventure; his ideal choice for a wife.

The people of Dekkan are losing their source of power—the mekaleins, slender, crystal-like rocks used to power all the machines on the planet. Without it, their memories and very means of survival would be impossible and life as they know it would cease to exist.

Fighting against all the odds, Deacon knows that together, he and Aurora could tap the power hidden in the stars.

[Book 1 of the ARC10 Trilogy] **Winner of the 2017 Watty Storysmith award** The President created an underground safe-haven for the survivors of the alien invasion. He built it to save them all from total annihilation. He protects them, feeds them, keeps them under his ever-watchful gaze so they can live. All he asks is that they obey. Captain Janika Lorn doesn't want to obey. Not if it means spreading her legs and contributing to the President's precious eugenics program. As a perfect candidate for the Human Hope Project, she is obligated by law to make more citizens for the dying society. But all she wants is her freedom to fight the Invaders and protect the people who already exist. If the mandated program wasn't bad enough, the worst part is trying to fulfill it with Captain Dean Freyer, her scientifically matched partner and best friend of sixteen years. Just as Captain Lorn is about to succumb to her fate, another opportunity arises. A mysterious commanding officer asks her to lead a human refugee ship--to save humanity by evacuating the destroyed Earth and shuttling the remaining population to a new habitable exoplanet 400 light years away. The mission is perilous. Especially because now, standing between her and her freedom is the hostile alien hosts of her ship, the ARC10, a sister returned from the dead, an array of impossibly confusing alien tech, a rekindled heat between her and Dean, and a sexy militia chief she can't seem to keep her hands off of. ARC10 is a romance-heavy sci-fi with the speculative horror of Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale and the military action of Battle: Los Angeles. Cover art by @FayLane Copyright © 2016 by LL Montez
Elemental Magnetic Star by Julienxuxu
200 parts Complete Mature
1. In the distant future, Earth is ruled by a newly born intelligence of technology, reducing humanity to a mere adjunct. To begin anew, the "Kunpeng" sets off into the vast cosmos, carrying the Nuwa System designed to reboot civilization. "Elemental Magnetic Star," this planet with its complex geography and intense electromagnetic radiation, already home to indigenous life, could it become humanity's final haven? 2. "The moon is orange-red today," Flicker Shadow said, "An orange-red moon signifies the time of our agreement. If she decides to go to the Free People's Tribe, I'll wait for her nearby." Raina Grace looked up at Flame Wave, who was lost in thought. He was slightly bowing his head, his usually impassive and strong brows furrowed in a rare sign of indecision; not quite the unflappable, powerful Silver Sect wizard he usually was. "You're really not coming with me to the Sky Domain?" But she couldn't just go to the Sky Domain; she wanted to forge her own path. He lifted his head, their eyes met, and they understood each other's intentions. 3. It's undeniable, these were the most beautiful and clear eyes Flame Wave had ever seen. Cold and light blue, they shone brighter than stars, wider than the heavens. At this moment, these captivating eyes conveyed apologies, regrets, and determination. She was not born human but chose to be human, to grow as one! 75k words manuscript completed, daily refined updates. Aurora Bakker can't comprehend how she's become involved in a life threatening car accident. She's lived her life for others, strives to do and be good. So why did a man on his phone swerve into her lane and drive her off the road? Why did her car flip twice and end up totaled in a ditch? And why did it have to happen during midterm season? Aurora, or Rory, Bakker is president of the environmental club at Daxton University. From a young age, she knew that her life would be dedicated to saving the Earth- trying to reverse, or at the very least stop, the destruction caused by humans. In order to do this, she disciplined herself. Her entire life was school, work, and research and she wouldn't let anything get in the way of goals. But then she almost dies, and the reflection of her life is more scary than death itself. Oliver Davies is her saving grace. After a day of exams that kicked his ass, he'd been on his way to the Friday night party to drink his worries away. That is until the car in front of him ran off the road. As a witness to the accident, he called the police to make a report and stopped to aid Aurora. After watching her almost die, literally holding her in his arms as she bled an unhealthy amount, he couldn't shake her. Oliver Davies, hockey superstar, had a crush- which is the last thing he ever wanted. The example of 'love' he received from his parents made him emotionally unavailable and avoidant as hell. So when this beautiful, passionate girl comes into his life in a way that feels like fate, Oliver knows he's in trouble.

13 parts Complete

I do NOT own anything from Pacific Rim, this is only a fanfiction. All credit goes to the creators! An Oc x reader story. - Yn is Female Raleigh Becket. Alien life entered the world from deep beneath the Pacific Ocean. After multiple attacks occurred, they learned that this wasn't going to stop. It was just the beginning. They needed a weapon, so the Jaeger Program was born. To fight monsters, they created monsters. Giant machines were built, Jaegers. The neural load proved too much for a single pilot, then a two pilot system was implemented. Two minds melting in memories into the body of a Jaeger. They started winning. But the Jaeger is only as good as the pilots. The pilots of Gipsy Danger, Yn and her brother Yancy Becket are among the best.
