Dan is pastel. He was raised to believe it was wrong to dress dark, to hate, to rebel, to lie, or to love the same gender. It was wrong and those who do so worship the devil.

Phil is everything Dan believes to be wrong. He dresses in black, wears piercings, drinks, thinks his own way of right and wrong, and fell in love with a boy. He's had a dark past that he tries hiding from Dan, but finds that Dan isn't as innocent as he seems either.

Soon Dan realises that not everything he was raised to believe is correct. He learns that God loves all, and that his parents were wrong, hiding secrets from him. Can Phil change Dan before it's too late, or will Dan fight him on it? Either way, Phil is willing to die trying.
