I KISSED MY BEST FRIEND! Or did I?

Shamie Joe Avroid is a normal 17 year old girl in high school. She is stunningly gorgeous, but doesn't know it and would NEVER in a million years consider joining the so called stuck up, snooty, annoying, rich, "popular girls". She's adopted by parents Gail (father or "Paps") and mom Felicia.She has a 17 soon to be 18 year old, older sister Monique who has a giant ego, 3 brother, twins John John & J.T who are 16 and in her band, and 13 year old Mario who is nothing but 90% trouble maker and all PAIN in the rear end... And then there is little Sammy. Sammy is turning 10 next month. She has a speech disorder, she is freakishly shy and is bullied a lot but only Shamie knows. But most of all she is Shamie's favorite. But the person who takes up most of her love is her best friend Byron. Byron and Shamie knew each other before she was adopted. HIS mother was the foster mom and they knew each other from day one. When she was adopted they never lost contact and the now go to the same school. And one day when Shamie gets asked out on a date by the caption of the varsity football team of the Black Stallions High School and she say "sure that sounds cool and all", he finds himself raged with jealousy. Could he possibly have feelings for her? Does he want them to be more than "JUST FRIENDS"? Is he going to tell her how he REALLY feels about her? Or will he just ruin their friendship... FOR GOOD!?
