Catalina is an orphaned wolf under the care of her adoptive older brother Adrian. 
Being the youngest recruit to Triton Pack's guard is proving itself to be a challenge. Especially when the future Beta doesn't believe she belongs, and seems he hates her more with every passing day. Things take a turn for the worse when a simple training exercise goes horribly wrong. In an attempt to save the life of one of her own, she kills an innocent human that went deep into the forest looking for a trophy. Unknown to her a Werewolf Hunter was watching them from a distance.
