as louis drove to get his food in the mcdonalds drive thru, he didn't know his ex-best friend (and ex-crush) would be giving him his pounds of food for his fiance and himself.

the window opened, and louis' eyes traveled up to the window, revealing a smirk immediately and his eyes sparkled with a glint of excitement. his face screamed cheery, but niall's screamed otherwise. in fact, the younger one didn't even realize louis was there, he just wanted his shift to be over with.

"here's your fo-"

"ah, niall! it really is you, we finally meet, eh? long time, no text, buddy," louis chuckled and niall froze in his spot, his hand just hanging out the window and eyes wide in shock. "ten years, quite awhile, huh? that silent treatment you gave me was hella brutal, you k-"

but his sentence was cut off with a big mac and smoothies that suddenly attacked him in his face.
