Ma Ying Ling is the 16 year old sister of Ma Chao. Their village was attacked by Shu forces due to a certain misunderstanding. With hatred and confusion, she followed her brother reluctantly into the battle alongside with Shu forces.

There, she met friends, foes and maybe love. She also discover the forgotten past that she had.  Will she stay with Shu or will she betray them in the end? Will her healing gift be used in the right direction or will she end up destroying herself?
