A medieval Marvel AU in which Bucky is the prince of the kingdom.

Steve Rogers and James Barnes couldn't be any more different. James is the heir to the throne, sought after by any girl that has enough sense. Steve is the village weakling, an orphan living on the streets.

The time for Prince James to choose a suitor, the woman to become his closest and most trusted advisor, is drawing near, and he's ready to give into his father's demands. Destiny, however, has other plans for James involving a scrawny blond boy whose path he never would've crossed if it hadn't been for his own selfish desire to taste freedom from his overbearing father.
