Lucy Stall is an ordinary, 16 year old girl who had lived with her dad ever since she was 12. Being left by her mom, she grew up being independant and caring on her own. She's just like any normal high school girl with big dreams.
What makes her any different?
Behind her bravery and upbringing, inside, she had been growing up with a great fear that has been tormenting her ever since she was a child.
She can see things that not all ordinary people can.
Ghosts
She grew up trying to overcome these paranormal beings but had always been haunted by her morbid memories.
But when she starts seeing another ghost in their new house, she wasn't being frightened or tormented at all. In fact, the ghost just wants her help. To find out his murderer. To seek for justice. But when she gets to help this poor young soul, she starts opening up to him.
Yes, he was a boy. Someone who used to live, and isn't any longer. But that didn't stop her from experiencing her newfound feelings for him.

Michael's Ghost Girl
This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room.
