In the year 2045, the Age of VRMMO (Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Games), the VRMMO Elemental Magic Online was on the verge of collapse. In order to prevent its further decline on the number of players, its creator modified the whole game system that 'trapped' its players in the virtual world. The government then recruited 5 of the best VRMMO  players from around Japan to find a way to beat the game and rescue those who were stucked in the virtual world. They were referred to as the Rescue Party.
