Vineel is a shy, bullied plant demon. He is a "girly" demon according to others and needs to "man-up". He is the stem of the relationship, and he holds black thorns.

Shadeere is a tough, powerful shadow demon. She is too "masculine" according to others (though none say it to her face) and needs to become a delicate flower. She is the flower of the relationship, and she holds a black rose.

While the two search for their soulmates, a fire is rising among demons. The government is having trouble keeping their grip. Everything told to hound demons is a lie. The Revolution has begun.
