Tensura: Melting the Eternal Frost - Book 1
This story depicts an alternate timeline wherein Velzard attends Walpurgis after sensing Veldora's presence. She subsequently meets our protagonist and becomes interested in him after his display at the meeting. After thinking for a bit, she decides to move to Tempest and becomes a close ally of Rimuru. Rimuru and Velzard will sometimes be out of character since it's unavoidable. Our protagonist will be more rational and have an actual spine, while Velzard will not be as cold and ruthless as her canon counterpart. Besides, Velzard lacks substantial characterization, so I decided to write my own interpretation of her personality based on the original light novel. I recommend at least having seen the second season of the anime since my story will pick up from there. This fanfic will follow the main story beats of the original light novel, so some arcs will be glossed over with minor changes. I'm somewhat OC, so expect a lot of chapter edits or updates, as I tend to reread chapters and catch minor mistakes here and there. (Note that this is Book 1 for the full story.) Even though Dragoniea has it's own school for dragons to keep the dragons separated from others, Zack went to a multi-specie high school. The thing that people don't know, is that Zack is the Prince of Dragoniea, Queen Hirai and King Luke's son. The only people who are allowed to know about Zack, are other royalty like Huro. Zack does not know that Huro is also a prince and knows about his secret. He's the Prince of the United Kingdom of Cats, Wolves, Demons and Vampires, son of King Demonic and King Daniel. When Zack notices that Huro is acting suspicious on afternoon after sport, he follows Huro into a forest nearby the school. It's then that he finds out that Huro is a wolf cross vampire hybrid and that he is actually the heir to the throne like him. This gives him hope that everything will change, since he's known a little secret since he was 13. However, this is just the beginning of their story together. Throughout this story, they go through obstacles big and small. Together, they slowly begin to form feelings. Is it meant to be, or will it be the thing that ruins everyone.
