“I can’t stay Emma..I have to go, this is my only chance..you know how much I want this, and you can’t let me choose between my career or you..” Liam said carefully, tears filled my eyes. “I never told you to choose, but I think you did yourself” I brought out as the tears slowly started rolling down my cheeks, Liam started crying as well. He cupped my face and rubbed my tears away with his thumbs “I love you Emma, I really do. You’ll always be in my heart” Liam said making me look at him and stared in my eyes, I could see the pain in his eyes. I shook my head and slowly pushed him away from me, I looked at the ground and then at him “Good luck with your career Liam..I hope you’ll get everything you ever dreamt of” I said as I turned around and walked away.

[✓] ∥ It all happened in a split second. One moment I was on his back, and the next one I was lying on the ground, watching the man who would be responsible for my possible disabilities run away. The woman was sitting and had her back against a near-by wall, and from what I could see, her eyes were wide and she was shaking. I would be too, if I wasn't paralyzed. Literally. A few hours later, well, just about 20 seconds in reality, she slowly stood up and observed me with horror in her eyes for a few moments. I looked back at her, seeing as that was the only thing I could do to let her know I was still alive. "Dear lord, child, what have you done?" She whispered, looking down at me. "I need..." I could barely choke the words out. "I need you to call the ambulance." Copyright © 2014 by funkystyles
