"The job of a royal is to protect their people and to serve and guide them towards prosperity. The people do not serve the royals they follow them." A young woman said as she faced the tree away from the young king behind her. "That is what a great king does." She said as she looked over her shoulder. "So will you be a great king or a man who just has the title and a crown?"
Day and Night. That is what this world is split into, with several kingdoms that represent both sides. The Day kingdom is ruled by the King and Queen of Hunters whose people each hold an animal spirit within them. Also under their leadership is the kingdoms of Earth, Water, and Wind. There was always a balance between all the kingdoms, but all that changed when one king fell to madness in anger and greed. The king of the Night attacked the King and Queen of the Day and the Hunter kingdom fell to ruin. The rulers of Earth, Water, and Wind began to protect and strengthen their own kingdoms to protect their people. Its been 20 years since the fall of the Hunters and the remaining Day kingdoms continually fight the ever-growing borders of the Night and its king who continues his never-ending search. Follow the tales of a modern world full of fantasy and endless creatures in many kingdoms. A world where one's past does more than just define them.

Thousands of centuries ago humans, vampires, and werewolves lived together in harmony, considering one equal to the other. Ruled by a council of three kings, with one from each fullblood race, peace endured for quite some time. However, the war had never truly been resolved so the hatred that the vampires and werewolves had for each other endured. When a mysterious murder occurs, chaos breaks out within the kingdoms. A throne must be taken, blood must be shed, a choice must be made and all must be answered by a girl with purple eyes.
