Taylor:
I love the movie so much but, right now all I can think about is Gavin. How he is sitting in front of me has his head perfectly in line with my nose. His hair smells like dark temptation, and I keep inhaling it. His brown hair is slightly messy, and absent mindlessly I reach out and I start playing with it. I don’t really notice that I’m doing it, because the action feels so natural. Jacob loved having his hair stroked, and I guess Gavin does too. He leans back more, sort of arching his neck back more to my reach. He has his eyes closed, as I play with his hair. It's so soft, like a baby blanket for his head, I love it. After a while, I stopped and just looked at him. Suddenly, I was wondering why I never hung out with Gavin or liked him like Jacob. He was as cute as Jacob, just as funny, and he was smart like him, maybe even smarter. When I stacked them up, standing them side by side they were almost the same. Jacob and Gavin were so much alike and yet so different. Along with all the stuff they both had Gavin had his own things that he did or was. Gavin was witty; he seemed to have a comeback for everything. He was a good listener too. The thing I loved most about him though was the fact that with him my life was close to normal.
Gavin:
My house is so quiet, I'm sure you could hear a pin drop. It's so quiet there it's almost somehow empty. Every sense Jacob died the house has been like that. It's like everyone is tip-toeing around each-other, and it drives me kind of crazy. My family barley looks at each-other. I think my parents forgot how I look, and I hate it. I hate it I hate me and, I miss Jacob.
Taylor: What will happen after Jacob? Will I ever move on and who will it be to? How could it be him?!?!? This is so messed up!
Gavin: How could I? I've always wanted this and now...now I can have it...yet it's not right
