Ellie is a quiet, shy teenager, who hasn't had the best start in life.. Her mother died in child-birth, Which caused her father to become depressed and turn to alcohol in order to "solve his problems." He also became very abusive towards Ellie... But after 16 years of torture and abuse, Ellie manages to escape and enrol in the local school, 'Waterloo Road'. Where she meets Kyle Stack, who is the complete opposite to her. He's loud, disruptive and isn't afraid to share his opinions. But what happens when these 2 accidental lovers meet? Are they really that different after all?.. And will anyone get in their way?
