As the atomic bombs blew up the horizon, I knew this was the final blow in this battle. This isn't going to end well. I glared up ahead at the enemy retreating from the radiating despair their bombs will leave behind. Up there I saw Ana. She was running past the front-line, somewhere you should've even be in the first place. I sprinted as fast as I possibly could to catch up to her. The bombs were being dropped closer and closer, they were on our flanks. I caught up with Ana and dove into the closest enemy trench. The trench was dark and stuffy. I could hear the bombs going off above. Thankfully, the trench had a door that blocked any atomic radiation. Ana was in the far dead end across from me crying silently. ~ Hey guys! I have done a bit of thinking (and learning) and decided to do a Wartime-type story. I really like how it's going so far, so I hope you really like it.
