Freya Dree Bevil was 15 when the disease spread, killing most of the population. The disease mostly killed adults, which included Freya's family. That's when everything went to chaos. She could hardly provide for herself since there were no jobs, at least not anymore. She was beginning to surrender to Death until a mysterious woman showed up in what was now her home and offered to teach her how to survive in this broken world.
For Freya, Death was that annoying person in your life who loves to toy with you and your emotions, but they always seem to hurt the ones closest to you more than yourself. Freya had found a way to manipulate Death into doing her bidding, but when she got tired of the price she had to pay, Death turned on her once again.
