I cleaned everything twice and then I cleaned it all again.
Dinner was skipped because my stomach is already filled,
With the dead butterflies you once brought to life but then,
You drew your bow, released, and they were killed.

Your love is just a dessert full of empty calories.
It looks so sweet and delectable, and I want it so much.
But the truth is your love was just a bunch of broken fallacies,
And my heart was mangled by its angry hand's clutch.

Sometimes I wish I didn't love you to my very core.
You used to be the one who was head over heels for me,
But your love started to fade and now I love you more.
But a life without you is not something I can see.

I can catch an attitude and give curt replies,
I can turn my phone off and painfully ignore you,
But never in a million years could I ever imply,
The lie that I'm not still hopelessly in love with you.
