His laugh boomed out across the room, stunning me into silence as he carelessly threw his head back. Axel White was an anomaly that I couldn't seem to wrap my head around. A boy surrounded by an unviewable world who found more humor in not being able to see, than anyone I'd ever met. His eyes, which he refused to cover were a muted blue which only seemed to add to his beauty. I'd never met someone so positive in all my twenty-three years. But from the first time I'd heard him brazenly joke about living in the dark, I was unable to get the sound of his musical laugh out of my head. He had begun taking over my thoughts and threatened to consume the very fiber of my being. My life was spiraling, falling apart around me as I desperately fought to stitch my torn world back together. But as my life clashed with Axel's it was clear that not everything is what is seems. Sometimes the only person who can save you from the darkness is someone whose been forced to live in it their entire life.
