Clarissa Norman was a miracle. She still is, really. Saved from a burning building at approximately four weeks old, she was put into orphanage. Of course she ended up being adopted, but nothing ever goes as expected. Her new parents were murdered, leaving her and her older sister--Lillian Norman--in their Uncle Pete's custody. But as Pete fails to take care of them, like any cliche, they're kidnapped and sold. Somehow, they managed to stick together. Yet, Lillian was unable to save Clarissa from being experimented on. Clarissa, repeatedly injected with a disease, builds an immunity to it. But it makes her semi-insane. As a world wide epidemic breaks out--Clarissa being the only known possibility to a cure--will Lillian manage to help Clarissa keep her sanity, or will Clarissa go insane? Find out by following Clarissa Norman in Different.

After Anna May wakes up from her coma, her foster sister Jodie can automatically tell that something is wrong with her. To prove this point Anna May randomly starts screaming in the hospital room. The only solution anyone could come up with was that the kidnapping Anna May had to endure made her go crazy. Everyone has given up on her except for Jodie. Jodie must find the strength inside her to dig up the past and make Anna May remember the past. The past was something Jodie didn't like to remembber either. So these two sisters, blood-related or not, must stick together and never forget each other because there are many questions to be answered. Who kidnapped Anna May? How did she escape? What's up with Anna May's friends? And most of all, how is Anna May supposed to protect Jodie from her past if Anna May is locked up in an insane asylum?
