Frank had dreamt about him before. A man dressed in dark clothes with shoulder length greasy black hair. He would walk down the same street, feeling the cool night air brush past him. Frank was sure he'd heard of him. Gerard Way.
"17 year old Gerard Way was discovered to be missing from his home in New Jersey after an incident believed to be related to him."
"Why do you need to know about him?" Frank couldn't tell her the truth. He'd sound crazy. "We're doing an assignment for school, we need to write a newspaper article, and I thought he would be interesting to write about.."
"Did he.. Did he ever come back?"
"Does that mean I'm dreaming too? Like dream telepathy or something?" Frank couldn't help but laugh. A slight look of hurt flashed upon Gerard's face. "You're talking nonsense, Gee. There's no way that's real!"
"No, but I am! I am out there Frank, I am real."
"Gerard Way is a dangerous man. He is unstable, Frank. I don't care what ideas you've got in your head, you will not search for him. Besides, he is more than likely dead after all these years."
Frank was more determined than ever to find Gerard Way alive.

Listen, if you told Gerard Way that he fell in love with a boy- He would stop you there and call you fucking crazy because that only means he A.) found someone who he found attractive and B.) befreinded this guy. Which was absolutely not possible and he would take great offense in you pulling his chain. Frank Iero on the other hand, had been itching to get to know the weird quiet kid, who had greasy inky black hair and skin paler than paper. Who ignored everyone who came his way. Who would bite his nails when nervous- and yeah, maybe he did have a little bit of a problem. But in his eyes, he was just observant! Totally not a creep watching this kid's every move. "God, Gerard," he moaned, "Are you that oblivious?" Frank watched him nod with a shrug. He rolled his eyes and continued nonetheless, "I really like you. I just wanna be fucking normal!" Frank Iero happens to be part of the unwanted. for all anybody knows, he's dead, but he isn't. he's hiding in the sewers, keeping himself alive. the unwanted are sent to a camp where they'll be executed. there are always those who escape but most are killed on sight. Gerard's parents are religious, they value their beliefs above their sons. But Gerard doesn't believe in such things. Gerard was different than all the other people his age. He always had been. No one seemed to understand his strange ways, except for his brother, Mikey. Mikey was the only person Gerard gave a shit about, in fact, he truly loved his brother.
