Book 3 of HomeLess Growing up in a family was what most kids who didn't have one, would dream about. As he got older, however, A.J. found himself dreaming about the same thing... yet he had a family. He'd been loved by that family as a child, but as he grew, their attention slowly shifted to his younger brother. He came to understand that his adoptive parents would focus a little more on their actual genetic child, but he wasn't prepared to deal with how quickly he lost everything he had cherished. The packed lunches stopped coming when he turned ten. Eleven, the birthday parties ceased. At fourteen, his younger brother was 'too old' to have to share his room, so A.J. was moved to the small laundry room. At sixteen, there were no more 'I love you' or 'have a good day'. At seventeen, the lunch money stopped and the hateful glares started. Then the angry words. Everything he did was wrong. The dishes weren't clean. The laundry wasn't folded right. By the time he finally graduated, a few days after his nineteenth birthday, there was no more attention of any sort. They ignored him, except to tell him that his chores weren't done well enough and that he didn't deserve to eat until they were. A.J., desperate for some sort of attention, and honestly starving, tried one last thing to get them to at least show so semblance of caring, even if it was negative. He told them that he was gay. At nineteen, only a few days after his graduation, A.J. was kicked out of his home with an empty stomach, and an empty heart.

His psychiatrist wanted him to build his life back up again after his recovery, but will the heartbroken man be able to do so? Alexei Marquis lived a happy life with his grandmother in France. All that changed when he lost his grandmother due to illness. He was just eighteen years old when it happened. Alexei's grandmother's will stated that he was the next owner of her empire. Alexei was suddenly burdened with responsibilities that he never wanted. He had to move from France to America to fulfil his duties. Alexei's wish was to become a surgeon and live his life leisurely with his future lover and children. Alexei became bitter and cruel when he didn't get what he wanted in life. People didn't dare to approach the C.E.O. Alexei in return only talked to his best friend Chance and two other friends while leading his grandmother's empire. The astonishing thing was that Alexei had never forgotten the man who had once saved his life. Will the mighty C.E.O ever manage to meet the man or will something unexpected happen? In this mansion lived two Alpha's Law and Kid; both don't get along sometimes but they were long time mates for life who have seven children between them. The children's mother ran away years ago when the youngest was born, they never bothered to look for her because she was never their true mate for life. Will [Y/N] be the true mate Kid and Law are looking for after so many years? What will [Y/N] find about herself in the few months she will be with them? What secrets are the boys hiding? And why were there signs of [Y/N]'s old orphanage here within this house? Come and find out in this book Stranger's Like Me.
