Whether by pragmatism or pure selfishness, millions of individuals were abandoned by those who swore to protect them. Authoritarian governments were established to protect the new elites and those useful to their cause. Fortune settlements were built all around the world by those who were abandonned, fighting for the meager resources left behind. Mysterious organizations rose in prominence, aiming to become the leader of this new world order. Amidst of this madness, a man going by the name of Aether unlocked the military system, a mysterious technology capable of changing the fate of the entire world.
Alive With The Dead
The world didn't end all at once-it unraveled slowly. Quietly. While no one was looking. Neve, a introverted 17 year old, was always good at noticing things. The way her neighbors' pets started vanishing. The way the news anchors stumbled over their words. The way her school suddenly cared about checking students for "fevers" but never offered explanations.
