During these teen years, I am at the door way between childhood and adulthood. As I take these baby steps, I don't ever want to leave behind pieces of me that I'm discovering, nor should I ever leave behind who I must always be. As I close the door, all that lies beyond me are questions that increase manifold with every answer. As I step outside of who I was  and into who I shall be, I write these thoughts in bold ink.

This publication is a collective of a few of my more personal compositions. Starting August 2nd, 2016 until September 3, 2018......these poems will be describing the onward journey in remission as well as how I continue walking forward to the beginning.....after all, only from the past can you grow in strength to face the future. It's like I don't recognize the person standing in front of me." I looked around and noticed my family had been waiting in case things got physical. "I think me being here is a mistake. I'm leaving and never coming back." "if you want to leave don't expect me to wait for you." "I don't expect you to wait for me, move on with your life." "I love you but it seems like I made mistake doing that." those words cut like a knife, I was heartbroken and all I could do was walk away after hearing that.
