"We were for sure lucky that this was considered a neighborhood for the elderly. About a year ago, the news reported that scientists predicted a deadly flare that the sun was going to expel. Although it couldn't reach the earth, the effects would cause a bacteria that was considered dormant without extreme heat, to release a gaseous poison that would kill anyone who wasn't immune. Scientists had enough time to create a vaccine, but the world's government released a statement for children to receive the vaccination first. Brooke was only two months old at the time, Olive had just turned seven, Ace was turning 17. I am 18 now, but when the vaccine was released I was still a minor, so I just barely was able to get it.

However, the scientists predicted date was incorrect, and the adults didn't get the injection in time. Almost all of the adult population has been wiped out. There are still a few adults left, like those who were naturally immune, or those who were rich enough to get around the age restriction. But the world is mostly millennials now. This means that there aren't people to run stores, or even grow crop unless their kids were taught to do it. However, if a child was passed on such skills, they did it for the sake of their own lives. It's every man for them self now, and unless you're in a gang, you don't share your ability or your stash."

After the start of the apocalypse, only the young were able to survive. But with Sage's large family and a shrinking stash, they may not be able to keep surviving on their own.

Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. [[Inactive]]: As of August 3, 2022, this story will no longer be updated with the release of the new story that's designed not just as a remaster of the old series, but as a retconned combination as well, called Terror Night: The String of Grudge. --- Scenario Date(s): January 17, 2017 - January 18, 2017 (Based on and/or similar to the events of Terror Night 2, a video created by RGSuperSam39) Summary: It's been 2 months since November 17, 2016, the date where 7 teenagers, including Ray & Patrick who were responsible for the serial killings were killed, marking this as the tragedy that shocked the city public. The two survivors of the terror night named Seth & Blythe thought that the danger is over and they continued to live in Portland to do their usual, daily life. But on January 17, 2017, a person named Ethan was killed by two masked killers in the middle of the night. Now on January 18, 2017, history repeats itself as teenagers die inside of the house, one by one within minutes. With Seth injured by the car crash the night before and Blythe was left all alone and surrounded by two people who had a motive to kill Blythe as a retaliation for the recent events since 2 months ago, how would this "horrifying fight for your life" situation came to an end with so many lives lost? When the criminal investigation started the next morning, they found a same piece of evidence that marks the next event waiting to happen... Over and over again... Story Beginning(Official Plot): July 14, 2018 Story Ending(Official Plot): January 2, 2019 Story Beginning: (Investigation / Epilogue): Ended --Violence is not the answer to the problems you faced everyday in your life. Especially when one of your loved ones who were actually murderers trying to kill the person that were targeted were murdered by an innocent person.--

The year is 2096. Computers, and other recognition software with them, have grown infinitely more powerful since the 2010s. Business is thriving. People are running about, living their lives, and generally enjoying themselves with their new 'smart' devices, which, for better or for worse, are actually living up to their name. Finally. Enter outcast Vincent Schorennherr. Her parents [emphasis on her] parents wanted a boy, no luck on that account, and they let her know that every day. You think that's not so bad? Think again. "Sorry, Vincent, but you're going to school anyways, flu or no flu." Well, just before first period, a 'conveniently'-timed password-entry prompt pops on on her phone screen, right as she: 1) Presses the sensor, and 2): sneezes, spreading rhinoviruses all over herself and her phone. She wipes the phone off and goes to class, thinking nothing more of the incident until the next day, when she goes to turn it on and gets a kill screen: "Fatal Error 81-141. The flu's contagious, didn't you know that? Bye now, gone to play Caesar- Veni, vidi, vici and all that." With that, her phone blinks off, and within hours, other phones begin to follow suit. With panic on the rise, and global tensions rapidly following suit, can Vincent and her friends find the cure before it's hard shutdown? **NaNoWriMo 2017** Complete in the sense that I'll probably never write any more of this story. I might edit it someday, though. I had a decent idea when I started, but that quickly went out the window.

Gangs. A girl. War. Fights. Love. Hate. Death. All words to describe the city of Athens. The most dangerous city in the country. But only those who have been there know that. Athens is not a place for tourism. Not many people who visit, make it out alive. Vicki, 16, has finally found a home willing to adopt her after 6 years of jumping from home to home, family to family, foster to foster. Some were good. Some bad. Some could, would, and did the unthinkable. But now she didnt have to deal with that. But she had no idea of the secrets that the friendly "welcome to Athens" sign hides. Or did she? She wasn't ever supposed to end up in the system. Or end up on her meds. She remembered nothing of her life before 10 years old. She had always knew something was missing, but this? This was more than she could ever handle remembering. **** "Wow, I thought it was just you guys and Artemis." "There's a whole world of gangs. There are gangs in every country, some even I don't know as a leader." "Is it tough being a leader?" "Some times. Especially when I have to deal with loss. But I also give some opportunities to people who need it. I've even given a homeless man a small job and it set him up for life." "That's cool. Are the Zusians tyrants. I mean were they?" something about the name doesn't shake me. It's stuck in my head for some reason. "They more are now. There's speculation that a kid got out safe and will one day take back the leadership, but after seeing the wreckage first hand, I don't think anybody left it alive," he says it. But he doesn't sound like he even believes himself. "Did the kid get out? Is it even slightly possible?" "Between you and me. I helped her escape. I know she got out. But I don't think she lived long after we lost contact. Why do you ask?" "Something about the name... It is vaguely familiar but I don't know why. Maybe it's just my meds." "You might have just heard it before." *** Cover by @_scintillas

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. With Iron Guard, the resistance outside the walls, hunting the Purebloods too, will the trial save human race before it's too late? #3 in #dystopianfuture (27.06.2020)
