To Heal a Mockingjay

Katniss Everdeen has already gone through so many atrocious things at the age of 17. She's survived two Hunger Games, the destruction of her district, Peeta's hijacking, and most recently, the death of her young sister, Prim. Besides that, the many deaths Katniss has caused over the years haunts her in her dreams.She has returned to District 12, to find that no one she loves remains there. The Mockingjay's wings have been injured, and she's forgotten how to fly. Katniss is broken into so many pieces that she thinks no one can put her back together. One day, the boy with the bread shows up again in her life, and brings hope that maybe, just maybe, the Mockingjay will once again sing her joyous song of freedom, and soar above the trees, leaving behind her worries.
