Maya Driffield arrived at Camp Half-blood approximately a month after Leo, Piper, and Jason had arrived back from their quest. Maya instantly gains a crush on Leo, the guy with the smart but funny jokes, the quick comebacks, the cool hair, the built-lean body and the good looks. Maya doesn't fall in love with him entirely because of his looks, however, she falls in love with his personality and charm. When she learns that there is something she needs to know, Leo, Piper, and other friends join Maya on her quest, and as Maya hits a near-death experience will Leo love Maya back?

I ran as fast as I possibly could, occasionally tripping over tree roots or running into trees. I didn't know where to go, I didn't know what to do. The thing after me had one eye only, and was just a bit smaller than a rich persons mansion home. It looked like something out of a movie. Maybe I had been hit by a car while I was running away?



      I wondered what had happened to my friends. I'd just ran and left them on their own. What a coward I was.

He couldn't iris message Frank to annoy him, since his job as Praetor kept him busy, and he tried to spend whatever free time he had with Hazel. speaking of Hazel, Leo couldn't speak with her either since she was either helping Frank with Praeter stuff, hanging out with Frank or kissing Frank. So with all the feelings of neglect, Leo slips back into his old habits and runs...runs away from everyone.
