Auden had experienced the heartbreak of young love at a young age with someone who's sanity was often questionable. Vowing to not let herself become vulnerable again, she draws into herself, slowly pushing everyone away. The boy who broke her heart was desperate to get her back and she was desperate to get away. Escaping the threats of a dangerous love was a necessity, until a boy from Nashville, Tennessee arrives to spend the summer with his grandparents, which also happens to be Auden's neighbors. Will he be able to erase all of Auden's misconceptions of love that were previously wrecked by her previous borderline lover? Or will Auden simply draw back into herself and continue to let the narcissist that she once loved continue to control her?
