Cassandra Phillips, torn from her family home in Ireland when she hit the age of nineteen, she is relocated to the outskirts of London. Scared and unknowing, she is forced in to being a blood slave. The nineteenth year of her life will be spent preparing for her placement on her 20th birthday, where she will be made to go wherever she is told to spend the next five years of her life with the sole purpose to give blood to vampires. But what happens when one of the highest-ranking vampires comes for a regulatory check at the holding grounds that Cassandra is staying at? Will she be able to hide from his unloving glare? Or will he be the one to save her from a placement with the potential devil himself?
