Cailee Moretti is a young, African-American woman growing up in the heart of Crenshaw, Los Angeles. Quite inevitably she develops two fears, one being that those inside her neighborhood are dangerous, and the other being that those outside are just as cruel. She chooses to focus on work and school as way to stray from the economic and racial crossfires of her world... but Nicholas Prescott happens, and he just may be the necessary guy to to teach her a few lessons about the damaging effects of a poor socio-economic world and forgiveness.
