So my mom died when I was 8 and I lived with my dad... and a bunch of little kids ranging from 2 to 7. Even though we weren't all related, we were family. My dad would fend for us kids more than he would himself. That's why I admire him so much. That was hope back then, before he died.  Did I mention we're homeless?  Zora had always had the same thought process, "protect, survive, love". She loved her family and would always protect them no matter how, in order to let them all survive. But when her dad died all the pressure was put on her to take care of the family.  I would tell you more, but then I'd spoil it...
