Syra is the definition of poverty. At a mere 16 years old, she labors over ten hours a day and eats next to nothing. The only reason she lives is to take care of her four year old brother, Brye. When Syra is cornered by a strange looking government official, she is pulled from her small family, everything she owns, to compete to the death for an enormous amount of money. She meets Wess, a boy just like her fighting for the well being of him and his sister. Will Syra risk falling in love?
