Hotline Fling
Can you fall in love with someone from the sound of their voice? No, that's silly... Eight years after losing her parents, Juneau's aimless drifting is a far cry from the stable, love-centered life her heart craves. Buried under student loan debt, she becomes an adult phone line worker. Instant sparks fly with her new client, Damian, a police sergeant whose investigations leave him jaded and burned out. Within the frenetic energy of New York City, Juneau and Damian are unaware of how closely connected their lives are, but repeated hot, anonymous conversations demand both to investigate if they've developed a true connection or if it's just a hotline fling. His Barrier
COMPLETED ✓ (edited 26th February 2023) Many teenagers deal with peer problems and social anxiety; well, there you meet Sage Parker. Not your very typical, but typical 17 year-old. She didn't have a problem with that; she loves being alone, enjoying binge-ing TV shows, finishing an entire can of Ben&Jerry's by herself and, sometimes, calling her only best friend to chat. One day, a new boy transfers into her school. He's distant, cold and sometimes even funny. There's Max Bordel, reuniting with his long lost friend group, finding a job at a local diner and making harmless pranks. One Biology assignement and one meal of nachos and cheese fries can easily bring those two together. **** author - "Please be aware of strong language and short chapters. This isn't a typical novel, it's mainly based on my thoughts and daydreams xoxo."Complete

"I need you to be the put together one because I'm so fucked up. You've saved me." He whispers. "Carter, we saved each other." I mutter looking at him through my eyelashes. I lean into him, our lips not even an inch apart. "Sophia we shouldn't..." He looks hesitant. "Please, I need you." I almost started crying. "Please." I mutter one more time, my eyes begging for him. My body needing him. Sophia Carrington. She just moved from New York to California in search of a new life. When her life took a dark turn she's forced to leave everything behind. She just wants to finish her final year of high school, numb to the world, while learning to cope with the trauma she's endured. Carter Marquez. Newly single after being dumped by his girlfriend of two years. After losing his dad in a car accident he's fallen apart. The list of people he trusts is short, he hates letting people in. He's constantly trying to make up for his mistakes of the past, trying to find a new purpose in life. When the two of them collided, they instantly took a mutual disliking to each other. Misunderstandings and a dash of alcohol set a flame between them. Sophia hates the snarky remarks and stupid nicknames that leave his mouth. Carter thinks Sophia is just another trust fund brat. Soon their rivalry begins to dissolve and they learn that sharing the pain of their past can form connections they never thought to be possible. Concepts and Writings!!!

In due time (Completed)
"You were worried about me, Specs?" He smirked. "No, Tyler. I hoped that someone cut up your corpse and fed it to paranas. Obviously I was, you idiot! I'm a doctor. Worrying about people is kind of programmed into my system. It's a curse if you ask me," I surprised myself a lot more than I thought was possible with my answer. And what did he do? Laugh! He fucking laughed! Not full on rolling- on- the- floor laughter but a laugh nonetheless. "This isn't funny, Tyler." "It kind of is. Almost a month ago, I would've sworn that you hated me. Be careful, Specs," he squinted down at me, "or you might actually sound as if you like me." I rolled my eyes. "Don't flatter yourself. I was concerned. Don't confuse that with affection. It's two very, very different things." *** When you think that all is not lost in the world. That not all men are pricks and that not all sushi is bad. When you think that there is a light, no matter how dim, at the end of the tunnel. When you think that life isn't the ruthless bitch you've always thought it was... It turns around and bites you in the ass. When you think that the past will always and forever remain where it should be... It comes at you from every direction. Like a violent tsunami destroying everything...and everyone in it's path. Can you change what happened? I wish. Can you stop what's going to happen? God! I really hope so.Complete

I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room
"This book speaks to anyone with a neurodivergent brain, that may feel like an alien here on earth. I swear Browning made me laugh and cry and question reality...sometimes all in the same sentence." -JD Todd, author The universe is a very strange place. It will take even stranger heroes to save it. Potto is dim-witted, extremely forgetful and incredibly naïve. He wasn't always this way. Aye-Aye is devilishly shrewd and has boozed his way into a comfortable existence of incompetence and sleaze. How they ended up being two of the most wanted aliens in the galaxy is anyone's guess. Chased down by every oddball bounty hunter in the known universe, and befriended by a libidinous assassin, a fire-breathing reptilian, and a telepathic tree, their misadventures take them past Earth (the mall planet), to a floating sex circus, a planet of killer stuffed animals, an underground spaceship impound lot, and to a planet of reasonably priced bungalows. All while flying around in a ship powered by the brain waves of a psycho killer. A great prophecy proclaims that only "one of light, and one of dark" can save the universe from the dictatorship of The Node. That can't be Potto and Aye...Potto doesn't know what the word prophecy means, and neither know how to spell it. Part sci-fi epic, part absurd dark comedy, I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room is a comment on human behavior, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem. But way more fun than that sounds. So, do up your space seatbelts...it's going to be a bumpy ride. Despite the lack of potholes in space. (Sci-fi /Dark Humour/Absurd) *Completed! Enjoy! I Loved You Blindly [Complete]
'Accidents happen'. That's what people say. Yet, some accidents take away from us more than others. Ethan had it all. Everything was lined up in front of him. Popularity, looks, friends, a hot girlfriend and a promised future in football. In one incident that resulted in a horrible accident, he lost it all. The best friend, the girlfriend, the planned future and his sight. Fighting through darkness and depression, he built high walls that kept everyone out. Skye suffered loss too, but she kept strong for the sake of her little brother, Matt. With her aunt and brother, leaving home and moving to a new place seemed like the perfect solution. A new start that they all needed. Skye's plan was to blend in and keep to herself. Well, not the easiest task when it was obvious as daylight that you were the new girl at school. Especially when she, literally, bumped into Ethan. For Ethan who has been isolating himself and absolutely independent that he pushed everyone away, and Skye being stubborn and not in-the-least shy on saying what she thought openly, fighting and bickering was unpreventable. Skye saw through the walls that Ethan has built around himself. Drawn to him, slowly, their friendship started to turn into something else.
