The title says it all. I'm going to be uploading various stories of different lengths and styles here, just playing around with words and seeing what the result is. I might be a little slow on the upload occasionally, because I'm pretty busy with Patchwork's second draft (which I haven't published yet). 
I might also be doing two parters from time to time, because I like cliffhangers a lot and plus there's only so many pages you can put in a chapter before the reader starts getting bored. So yeah. Have fun reading thisAll Rights Reserved

Me: Well, actually, I was just looking for a xreader story with an adult Donnie, where the female character is strong and independent, doesn't need to be rescued all the time, and isn't a giggling schoolgirl. April: And you didn't find anything? Me: Don't get me wrong, April! There are so incredibly great fanfics and xreader stories out there, and I ate them all up! But I needed a new kick and I wanted something epic, dramatic that involved the mystical powers of the turtles and their further developments. April: And then you started writing yourself? Me: The story came about on its own. In my head. And at some point I just had to write it down, otherwise I would have exploded. With the writing, it didn't become a typical xreader story with the "y/n" in it, because that had irritated me. I know that the "y/n" comes out of an inclusive thought, and I think that's good and right. Unfortunately it blocked me, the heroine in my story was too complex and too concrete, and so I gave it up, even if it was no longer a real xreader story. April: And now you're writing a second book? Me: Exactly. The sequel. I'm on it. April: Do you want to give us a little teaser? Me: Well, there's still Leo and his complicated relationship with my heroine. And in the sequel, he finds out that he actually likes rabbits, too. April: Yeeeah? Me: No, no - I don't want to give too much away! April: Am I also on board again? When a promising job pops up to go pick mushrooms he's just about two steps from closing the deal when a giant, quiet Kazcta arrives in the tavern. His arrival ruins his chances at a solo job and he's forced to go on the long journey with the emotionless 'oaf'. As bonds develop, secrets churn, and words are exchanged, they get closer and closer to the mushrooms. All until the Kazcta becomes ill and too many lines have been crossed for Stealth to pretend it wouldn't hurt if he lost the big, surly, oaf. They make their way to the Kazcta's tribe and- Cue the fun. HEA chapter everyday.

I had been running for what felt like hours. My legs were burning, and I knew my body was about to give out. The tears that had long since dried still clung to my face. I was covered in bruises and cuts from tearing through the forest. Everything hurt-not just my body, but my heart as well. Just hours ago, I was at a motel with my mom, arguing about dinner, and now she was gone. She killed herself to protect me. That's what I keep telling myself, but deep down, I know it's not true. She was tired of running, tired of hiding. The hunters were close, too close, and to avoid being captured and tortured again, she decided to exit on her own terms. I had to get out of here fast. But I had nowhere to go, nowhere to run or hide-still, I kept going. Thankfully, I had good instincts and the one lesson my mother ever taught me: shapeshifting. I just needed to throw them off my trail. I glanced over my shoulder to see if I could spot any pursuers, but that was a mistake. I tripped and hit my head on a rock, and everything went black.
