After being in and out of various institutes for 5 years, Kara Burnes almost didn't want to go home. But, with a final discharge form and a half filled duffle bag, she had driven herself back to her parents' house.
When there was no one there to greet her, to welcome her home with open arms, Kara began to wonder if she'd missed something over the years she'd been gone.
