Astral

Darcy, a 16-year-old who had lived in a brothel her whole life, yearns for freedom. She wants to escape, and when she finds her chance, she meets a group of gypsies who soon teach her about the world around-- and inside-- her. When she begins to uncover the political trouble her land is in, she picks a side between two kingdoms that are in a hostile war; She begins a journey that brings her to lengths she never thought she would have to go to.

On the other side of the kingdom is Valentina, who is the first person to be born with the power of Astral Projection using abacomancy. She is recruited to fight for her kingdom, and as she uncovers more truths, the less she can bear it all. She begins to question herself, and her purpose, and is taken to places in her mind she never thought she would go to.

Through the struggle of their nations, Darcy and Valentina form a unique bond that drives them to do the unthinkable for them both. But there's another pawn in the game that could end both of their journey's; and it's right under their noses.
