With Oryx, The Taken King finally defeated, our heroes have lived a much more peaceful life over the last few months, especially after the defeat of that nasty SIVA ridden Archon Prime. There are certainly enemies of every race that still remain, but our Guardians have been focusing on the gradual defeat of these much less threatening foes.
In the passing months we find that some traces of 'higher than usual' activity have risen throughout the Solar System, and our Guardians must traverse the stars to determine where these enemies are coming from, and what their intentions are, why they are there, and most importantly who is in charge of them?

The Golden Age- When the Traveler arrived, a time of peace, prosperity, and infinite possibility sprouted from Earth. Mankind had launched hundreds- if not, thousands- of journeys across the system, connecting Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, even Mercury into an increasingly large web of life and technology. Fast forward to the end of the Golden Age- The Collapse and the Dark Age- alien races surge forth from outside the system- the Eliksni, the Hive, The Cabal, The Vex- all coming for the Traveler. He fought them all, sending his Light, his Power out, crushing the opposition. Then, He was crippled, retreating to a small town. Fast forward to the beginning of our age- The City Age- With His dying breath, The Traveler created the Ghost- small machines that can revive those capable of wielding the Light- His Power- and fight the Darkness. The Hunters scout out terrain, reclaim Dead Zones, and are the eyes and ears of the City- the Warlocks research the secrets of the fundamental ideas of the Darkness, predict future events, and enthrall themselves in the workings of the Light to understand it and to find new ways to work it into the Guardians arsenal- and finally, the Titans, Defenders of the Last City, and the burning lights of hope in the shadows. Honor-driven. Leaders. Warriors. The Protectors of Humanity. Deeply intertwined in the history of the Last City.
