In a world where people can be born with a genetic mutation that gives them powers, surely you'd think everything would be like a comic book right? Well you'd be wrong. People born with this gene are called "Conduits", or Bio-terrorrists if your in the majority who hate them. Conduits are viewed as monsters who only bring evil to the world, and are captured by the "Department of Unified Protection" or "D.U.P" for short. The D.U.P takes these conduits to a prison known as Curden Cay Station and do God knows what to them. So you can imagine that finding out one day that you are one of these conduits would be an extremely bad situation to be in, and unfortunately for our freshly graduated main protagonist, he is about to find out just how dark this world can be. With the death of his lover at the hands of a conduit during their escape from the D.U.P, will our protagonist fall to his anger and seek vengeance for his lover's death? Or will he prevail and choose to be the better man in a world where the better people are at risk?

A girl has high grades at school and she begins to come to the end of school when a teacher she knows asks her to come and work for him as a babysitter /nanny. She moves into his house and learns that his partner is hardly around. Once she begins to look after the two kids the teacher realises that the kids love her and she loves the kids. But as his partner not being around he starts to fall for the girl even though he knows he shouldn't. He gives her lifts to school for the last few weeks then as he realises he loves her he calls into his partners hotel room as she is in town to only find that she has found someone else and has started again with them. He breaks it off fuming then goes to find the new love of his life and asks her to be his girlfriend. She agrees and then they live their lives freely with his kids and maybe another little one. They will develop these powers one at a time. The family tree stretches back until the beginning of time. When a God had a baby with a human. Back then this was the biggest sin you could ever do as a God. In punishment the blood line to follow this union would be cursed and in 1000 years twins will be born to defeat the curse and stop all the people against them. That's is where Jolene and Jupiter come in. They are the only two who can stop the Evil that is coming. The book is about their life as kids leading up until now. There will be heart break, romance and adventure.
