Barely making it out alive, Adaline and Delilah ran for the woods, resorting to everything their ex Green Beret father taught them in order to survive. They planned to lay low until the city grew quiet before going out to find their parents and those they cared for. But, after 4 days, Delilah grew sick with something neither of them could figure out and it made her feverish and weak to the point that she couldn't walk. But when push comes to shove, when you're barely alive and should be dead, the people who you don't know may just save you. Surviving without enemies is hard enough. But when the past comes back to haunt and enemies come to fight, the apocalypse may just become almost impossible to survive. Brains and brawn may not be enough. It takes heart to make it day to day.
