This all began when I found a box full of letters, hidden away in an old safe behind a wall panel in my ancestral home.
Each one was addressed to the same person; My Bluebell Prince, and sealed with a red wax stamp.
All but one.
One was addressed simply "To my son," which lead me to believe that these letters were far older than I could ever hope to be.
At first, I had wanted to leave the box be and go back to running my family's china company. But, days passed and I couldn't stop thinking of the letters; Who had written them? Why had they been hidden away? Was it some secret plot? Love letters between a lord and his lady fair?
So, here I am, sitting in my study in the middle of the night, reading the letters one by one.
After all, satisfaction brought back the cat after curiosity got him killed.
