“Lana, listen to me. You need to get out of here” he pants in attempt of standing up only to fall back against a tree, “I’ll be fine trust me, just go” the urgency in his voice tells me that I should listen and run but my body refuses to move, nothing makes sense right now. Who were those people who were chasing us, and why? 

“No Harry! Y-you’re dying can't you see that!” the words painfully leave my mouth but I want to swallow them back in again. All those nightmares I had of Harrys blood on my hands, of the light fading from his eyes…they’re coming true.

 I wipe off the dirty tears off my cheeks and move towards him but I am stopped by the sight of three small cased bullets falling to the ground from the holes in his shirt. 

My eyes are betraying me…those bullets…

that’s- that’s impossible… it couldn’t have just left his body…

My legs carry me closer to him as I grasp the end of his shirt in attempt to clarify my sanity.
