It's been a year since The Accident, and Cahlan Asher hasn't heard from her family or friends. She hasn't seen or talked to them in months, she's been in a painful seclusion since last summer.
   What will happen this summer when Cahlan and her friends are reunited? The horrid scars of the past have permanently attached themselves to Cahlan, the ghosts of the pasts continuously knocking on her door.
   The Way You Loved Me follows Cahlan Asher and her friends as they spend one last summer together, struggling to forget the past and move on. Cahlan knows she will never be the same again, but that won't stop her from trying.
